Children

 Blessed

As the new school year arrives, we can’t help but look over all that God has done this past year. Over 5 of our children have found Jesus to be their personal Savior and that is the most exciting, rewarding experience we have ever been apart of. It reminds us of Isaiah 65:1 “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me, I was found by those who did not seek me and to a nation that did not call on my name, I said “Here am I.” We are so blessed to see God work in this special way among our children. VBS this year was amazing, great volunteers and I believe the children all had an awesome time. The Girls Only Sleepover was a LOT of fun. The dad and me or mom and me nights during our Awana ministry were well attended and such a fun thing to be involved in. Turkey Olympics was an experience and fun to have with you. Our Sunday School teachers and Awana teachers have all blessed our lives by being flexible, reliable, and above all dedicated to our children. ALL the BEAUTIFUL babies being born this year were all reasons to shout with joy!.We just want to take a moment to do just what Psalms 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving. And into his courts with praise; give thanks unto Him and bless his name.”

We thank Jesus for you and for our children.
Please pray for God to give us wisdom: James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, he should ask God— who gives it to us generously.” We need wisdom to lead you, minister to you, weep and rejoice with you. We love you and pray for you often! Feel free to facebook us or email us!
Love,

BSG Dreamers – named by our first preteen group to graduate from this ministry is a preteen ministry for fifth and sixth graders, designed to allow students the opportunity to become a part of a community that will love them for who they are, teach them Christ, provide fun and new ways to seek their Savior, and build them up in confidence.  They have monthly activities, camp in the summer, and their own curriculum.

Preteen Camp is open to children who have finished 5th-6th grade. We will be going to Riverbend Retreat Center July 29th- Aug 2nd and it is $185 per camper. Email Shannon for more details.

 FBC Benbrook’s Children’s Ministry in a Nutshell

The Quest

With twists and turns that inspire your child to Questioning (Proverbs 18:17), drawing them to Understanding(Psalms 119:34), daring them into Earnestly Seeking (Ps 63:1) Him, and ultimately to finding the Truth (John 14:6)of Jesus Christ, the QUESTis an awesome adventure with one goal.
That they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”Colossians 2:2-3

Preschool:Infant -5 year olds

As your child steps into our children’s building, their adventure begins in Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. They will be engaged in age appropriate lessons that spur on their ideas of who Jesus is, what the Bible is, and how to be kind to others. At this time they are ministered to by people of our church who truly have a heart for their age level.

Extended Session and Kids Worship church is a special time for your child as you enjoy the worship experience.

In Extended session your infant through three year old will be welcomed by members of our church and are given creative lessons that will spur on their desire to know the Lord as they grow. Kids’ Worship is a time for your four year old- 2nd grader to enjoy an active age appropriate worship session. Your child will attend service with you until this time is announced and then leaves with our children’s minister. This is available for both services.

Children three years old through 6th grade are also encouraged to participate in our Awana ministry on Wednesday nights. This ministry is interactive teaching for our kids (even at three!) to learn the Word of God. They have snacks, learn Bible stories and Bible words, they play games and just enjoy each other.
