Connecting our community to Christ and His greater purpose
In Him, you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit (Ephesians 2.22)
One of the great gifts of our salvation is the call to live in community as the body of Christ. God could have saved us and left us to finish our journey on earth all alone. Instead, He calls us to live a children of God with brothers and sisters in Christ dwelling together in the local church as the family of God.
Jesus said that the two greatest commandments were to love the Lord with all of our heart and to love others as ourselves. If the first commandment relates to worship, the second surely relates to living in biblical community. When we connect with other believers, we build friendships, encourage each other, and help each other through the trials of life.
The primary way that we build connections in our church is through small group Bible study groups that meet on campus on Sunday mornings. We call these groups "Sunday School Classes," and we have a class for people of all ages, from birth through senior adults, including classes for students.
Someone at the Information Desk in our lobby will be glad to escort you to a small group Bible study on Sunday morning.
