Connecting our community to Christ and His greater purpose.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve on another as good stewards of God's varied grace (1 Peter 4.10)
One of the great joys in the Christian life is serving the Lord. We believe that every believer has a spiritual gift, a manifestation of the Spirit, a way in which the Spirit of God works in us and through us to minister to others. We strive to help our members find their place of service both in our church family and in the world.
We believe that God is up to something big in His world, and we want to be part of it.
We encourage our members to find a place of service within the ministries of our church. This could be in children's ministry, student ministry, sanctuary choir, small group bible study leader, audio visual team, building upkeep, nursing home ministry, etc.
But we also encourage our members to think outside the walls of our church. We want to use our gifts and talents to serve our community. Some of these opportunities in connection with our church include serving meals at the Presbyterian Night Shelter, serving at the Pregnancy Help Center, serving as a site host for Meals on Wheels, volunteering as a reading coach with Read2Win, and more.
