Children

Our ministry follows our church’s vision of “Loving God, Loving Others, Serving Both” in all areas of ministry. Below are the ministries we hope you can enjoy!

Loving God

AWANA

Children three years old through 5th grade are encouraged to participate in our AWANA ministry on Wednesday nights. This ministry is interactive teaching for our kids (even at three!) to learn the Word of God. They have snacks, learn Bible stories and Bible words, they play games and just enjoy each other. This begins the first week of September and finishes in May

Is your child in 4th or 5th grade? Come enjoy a special ministry with almost monthly activities, day hikes, retreats, trips, and Bible studies! Sunday School for 180 degrees meets at 10am on Sunday mornings and you can get on the texting list of all other activities throughout the year!

Preteen Camp
Preteen Camp is a place who those who have finished 5th grade enjoy their last week in our children’s ministry before they graduate to the middle school area. In Glenrose, they enjoy the zipline, Bible Study, Water park, BMX course, and teachers who enjoy this age immensly. This camp is hosted at Riverbend Retreat Center July 26th- July 31st and is $185 per camper. Their are partial scholarship available on a first come first serve basis. New Christian Class

Is your child asking questions about about where they will go when they die? Or any other questions that are just tough to answer about Jesus, Heaven, etc? We can help you and they can attend this class.

Loving Others

The NOT SO ORDINARY CHOIR: This choir based on I John 3:16-18, desires to not only teach a child what they are singing about but encourage action behind their faith. These practices are held on Sunday evenings and this is also the group which begins learning the VBS muscial. We enjoy doing activities like a lemonade stand, serving at a homeless shelter, and singing our musical at Beautiful Feet (a local homeless shelter). This is an exciting ministry for your child to participate in- the next session will begin the middle of June.

Serving Both

Children’s Church is a special time for your child as you enjoy the worship experience.

Children’s Church is a time for your four year old- 2nd grader to enjoy an active age appropriate worship session. Your child will attend service with you until this time is announced and then leaves with our children’s ministry team. This is available for both services.

Family Movie Nights are fun nights we all curl up and watch a movie on our Big Screen. You can buy or bring your own dinner, snacks and soda’s. All ages are welcome!
