MS- Family Based

Here are a couple of interesting quotes on the family’s role in the spiritual development of a student:

We know that the parents of a student play the most pivotal role in that student’s walk with Christ.  This is why we do not seek to displace the natural spiritual leadership position that God has given to parents, but rather to supplement it, and in cases where the parents are not believers, to provide that spiritual guidance while trying to reach out to their parents.

We occasionally have meetings that we invite all of our parents to attend. We have information/planning meetings and resource driven meetings. Information meetings is just that, it is  a discussion of all upcoming events. Resource driven  meetings are designed to better equip parents to engage their children by having a better understanding of the culture in which their students live.

With strong families comes a strong middle school ministry!
