Sunday School Classes

Sunday Morning Bible Study Classes for everyone!

Get Connected in Sunday School

One of the first places to connect in our church is through a Sunday morning Small Group Bible Study. Connect with friends that will encourage you in your efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in your circle of influence. Connect with caring friends in a safe environment where there is free exchange of life challenges and prayer for each other. Connect with God as you study the Bible and grow in your application of principles learned. Connect with ministry to others in the class and beyond to the community.

Looking for a Sunday morning Small Group Bible Study class?

If you are ready to join one of our Connect Classes (Sunday School) but you are not sure where to go? We are here to help! Sunday Morning before each Sunday School hour we have First Impressions team members ready to help to find the right place to go. Our First Impressions team are available in the church lobby every Sunday.

Adult 1: Krista Gordon

A multigeneration group that believes faith is best grown in community across generations. From sharing meals to sharing life’s ups and downs, we’re here to support one another and learn from the different perspectives each age brings to the table.

Adult 2: Homer Hawthorne

Our Bible study group is dedicated to knowing God and applying His Word to our daily lives. We are currently concluding a study on discerning God’s will and will soon begin a new series titled Forgiving Myself and Others.

Adult 3: Marc Brown/Dave Roberts

A multigenerational group containing people from all walks of life in their early 20s through early 60s. Every week we pray for each other, study complete books of the Bible, and make discussion a priority.

Adult 4A: Karla Reese

A multi-generational group who studies the Bible in-depth using Lifeway’s quarterly guides. They maintain a welcoming culture of fellowship, rotating teachers, and dedicated prayer support.

Adult 4B: Bob Stewart

A class for all ages of adults, led by a retired seminary professor with more than 25 years in leading believers to defend the faith, this class looks at hard questions our culture is asking, and seeks to provide Biblical answers

Adult 5A: Jerry Shidal

A structured, systematic journey through the Bible using seasonal Sunday School literature. Mostly empty-nesters and those in a "seasoned" stage of life who value deep friendships and biblical consistency. If you’re looking for a group that studies the Word faithfully on Sunday and shows up for you on Tuesday when life gets hard, you’ve found your home.

Adult 5B: Wayne Williams

A muti-generational group who do in-depth Bible study together.

An intensive, verse-by-verse exploration of Scripture, focusing on original context, history, and deep theological truths. Led by a dedicated lay-teacher with a passion for deep biblical scholarship. This class is for people of all ages who aren't afraid to ask hard questions and want to "chew on" the Word. If you’re looking to go beyond the basics and want a class that feels like a masterclass in the Bible, pull up a chair.

Adult 5C: Ladie’s Class

A small group of ladies who want to move past small talk and engage in honest conversations about what it means to follow Jesus today. This is more than a class; it’s a circle of sisters. We dive deep into the Word on Sunday and walk closely through life’s joys and trials throughout the week. If you’re looking for a place to be truly known and prayed for, our door is open.

Adult 6A: Joel Nissen

Rooted in decades of faith, this group of senior saints gathers for a rich, discussion-based study of the Bible. Using the Explore the Bible series, they bring a lifetime of spiritual maturity to every chapter they cover. It is a welcoming, supportive community for couples and individuals alike who value deep roots and steady fellowship.

Adult 6B: Kay Thanisch

A larger, active group of older women—many of whom are widows, but all of whom are sisters in Christ. This class is a beautiful tapestry of experience and encouragement, focused on growing deeper in faith and wider in fellowship. If you’re looking for a place where you can be part of a larger "family" that looks out for one another, come join us this Sunday!
