Lottie Moon Christmas Banquet - Dec 3rd

An annual church wide event focused on missions and fellowship. December 3rd @ 5pm.

Lottie Moon Christmas Banquet

Sunday, December 3rd - 5pm - Fellowship Hall

You and your family are invited to join us for the first ever, Christmas Banquet and Lottie Moon Kickoff! In the past, we gathered together on the Sunday night before Thanksgiving for a potluck thanksgiving meal. This year, we are moving the event back to our campus and moving it to the first Sunday night in December.

This special night is a time for our church to gather together with a good, old fashioned potluck dinner. The church will provide the meat and drinks, but we are asking you to provide the sides and desserts. We will be setting up the serving line in the youth room and eating in the newly remodeled Fellowship Hall.

More importantly, this banquet will also kickoff our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Lottie Moon was sent as a missionary to China by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1873, and this special offering to support sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth is named after her. During the banquet, Pastor Todd will be sharing more about this offering and how we can participate, including the Mission Tree and Prayer Walk.

We know that it will be a tight fit in our Fellowship Hall for our entire church, so we are asking everyone to RSVP so that we can make adequate plans. Please click on the button below to let us know that you are coming!

What is the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering?

Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world’s greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence.

She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.
